WP2 – Water quality sensors |

WP2 is focused on the development and study of the required water pollution sensors. It will involve the:
- Improvement/optimization of gel integrated microsensors (GIME) and submersible system based on GIME-voltammetric and multiparameter probes for in situ monitoring of the bioavailable fraction of trace metals coupled to the master physico-chemical parameters
 
- Development of a CHEMFET-based technological platform for the realisation of electrochemical microsensors adapted to the detection of charged species in surface waters.
- Development of a micro acoustic transducer (Shear mode BAW) coated with specific polymers for hydrocarbons detection in water.
- Pre-field tests of the various sensor-probes in order to select and further optimize the most promising working units to the mobile field testing.
- Adaptation of the selected sensors-probes interfaces based on the pre-field tests to the MOBESENS network system via a common plug-in interface.
