Mobesens

The objective of Work package 4 is to design and implement a data fusion system in the form of maps and an associated computation grid to enable MOBESENS to report collected, sensed and monitored data to organisations and agencies to estimate pollution and environmental hazards and take appropriate action. The fused and reported measurements will contain precise location and time stamps for use by environment monitoring and management agencies. The grid framework developed in WP4 will also serve as a basis to optimise the MOBESENS system itself in terms of adaptive monitoring, topology, sensor density, sensor placement and monitoring cost versus accuracy tradeoffs.
